I have to agree with Mr. Groeschel here. It isn’t about styles of churches. However, I don’t think that we can then just dismiss all of our criticism of some churches because those styles can become more then just what they are supposed to be. When a style of doing church becomes a main focus then I don’t think we are honoring God in that. So yes, by all means allow churches to find their own style and place, but keep in mind that the reason for coming together has nothing to do with the style nor does God care about the style we use. We can easily be overcome by looking “cool” in our minds and lose focus on the whole reason why we are even thinking about these things.
